Rima Martens

Rima Martens is a Māori woman that situates decolonisation at the core of her writing practise. She uses language to celebrate culture and end the narrative of deficit while balancing an awareness of the omnipresent struggles for respect for Indigenous voices and issues. Her poetry and nonfiction has been published in The Quarry and LOR Journal.
