Announcing RD’s 2020 October/November Poetry Micro-Resident!

12 October, 2020

We’re thrilled to announce that our October/November poetry micro-resident for 2020 is Luke Patterson!

Luke Patterson is a Gamilaroi poet and folklorist living on Gadigal lands. He is interested in the ways bioregional identities and consciousness are expressed through localised and vernacular forms. Luke’s research and creative pursuits are grounded in his extensive work with Aboriginal and other community-based organisations across Australia.

Luke will produce new work over a two month period (October/November), which will be distributed via Running Dog’s monthly newsletter.

Running Dog will offer five micro-residencies in 2020: February/March, April/May, June/July, August/September, and October/November. Call outs for each residency will take place in the month before they begin.
