Lou Garcia-Dolnik

Lou Garcia-Dolnik is a poet and editor working on unceded Gadigal land. Their writing has been awarded Second Prize in Overland‘s Judith Wright Poetry Prize, Third Prize in PRISM International‘s Pacific Spirit Poetry Prize, a place on the shortlist for the 2020 Blake Poetry Prize, the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity’s Writing Studio Program and a Varuna Residential Fellowship in 2021. Their work has been published in or is forthcoming with Australian Poetry Journal, Overland, Un Magazine, Liminal, The Emerging Writers’ Festival, PRISM International, Rabbit Poetry Journal, Scum Mag and Voiceworks. A poetry editor for Voiceworks and alumnus of the Banff Centre’s Emerging Writers Intensive, they are a 2020-21 Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow. You can check out more of their work here.
