Jacqui Shelton

Jacqui Shelton is an artist, film-maker and photographer who holds a PhD from Monash University and is a sessional lecturer at Monash University and RMIT University. She has exhibited throughout Australia, including presenting exhibitions and performance works at Gertrude Contemporary, West Space, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Tarrawarra Museum, MADA Faculty Gallery, Metro Arts, Screen Space, and with Channels Festival and Liquid Architecture. She has been nominated as a finalist in the Incinerator Art Prize (2019), Darebin Art Prize (2019), John Fries Award (2014), the NAB Private Wealth Emerging Artist Award (2014), and was artist in residence at Arts House, Melbourne, NARS Studio Residency, New York, Bogong Centre for Sound Culture, Bogong (VIC), and Testing Grounds, Melbourne.
